Scott Brooks’ Classy Speech To His Team Right Before OKC Loses The Finals

With the Miami Heat in complete control and the clock ticking down, everybody in the building knew that Game 5 and the NBA championship were squared away. During a timeout, Scott Brooks acknowledged as such and congratulated his players on an amazing season, as well as reminding them to use that feeling of disappointment to push them to even further heights in 2012-2013.

More importantly, Brooks commands his troops to stay on the court and shake hands with Miami once the final buzzer sounds. We’ve seen many players just walk off the court, including LeBron, so this move by Brooks is nothing short of classy. As they say in soccer, form is temporary, but class is permanent. Here’s the speech:
